The Fernández y ROCHE factory, in permanent evolution

At Fernández y ROCHE we always work taking into account three fundamental pillars: our craftworkers, the quality of the raw materials and the permanent innovation of our products.

To produce the best hats we must have qualified staff, in our case, a team with more than 20 years of experience who are trained every day to offer products with the “handmade” label.

Our headquarters are located in Seville, where the power of craftsmanship is highly valued. A historic place, inspiring in every corner, which becomes the ideal background for the creation of our accessories. And, thanks to this process of craftsmanship and care, Fernández y ROCHE hats will be passed down from generation to generation.

Today, we have made a change that we are very proud of. In our factory, natural light is the absolute protagonist. What is it all about?

The summer collection and Seville, the perfect mix for continued growth

The paradisiacal beaches of Sanlúcar de Barrameda have served as inspiration for the new summer collection by Fernández y ROCHE. Sun, sand and a crystalline blue sea that blend with the earth tones of our summer hats.

And we don’t just want to take a little piece of this summer light from Cádiz. Seville is one of the sunniest cities in Andalusia, so it is very easy to implement a natural light system in the factory and take advantage of its benefits for our human team and as a source of energy.

In the case of our workers, this is very useful, as it improves their wellbeing and health, influencing their mood and favouring a more positive and pleasant working environment. What’s more, this change has led to the elimination of shadows and main lights in the most productive intervals, from 10 am to 5 pm.

On the other hand, energy costs will be reduced. The payback time for the investment in the company was approximately five years, so savings will be made for future positive investments. At Fernández y ROCHE we are very conscious of the environment and we know that, with this change, we are doing our part to help the cause.

In summary: we undergo positive transformations to take care of our facilities, our artisans and, above all, our customers. Despite the innovations we have made over the years, there is one thing that remains unchanged: pure craftsmanship and manufacturing, with the tradition acquired in over 130 years of history.

Fernández y ROCHE.
